Private Property: RIP

Today the so-called liberal wing of the United States Supreme Court continued wiping it's collective ass with the remaining shreads of the Constitution in ruling that cities may seize homes.

Madness and Absolute Foolishness

This is insanity! Why, with all of the truly pressing issues of our day (social security reform, the war on terror, prisoner abuse, etc.) would our elected leaders waste a single minute of time on this nonsense? Folks, this is just a bad idea. Look, deep down I don't care to see old glory abused or misused, but there is a much more important underlying principle at stake here. Actually, I think that this particular quote sums up my own feelings quite well:
If the flag needs protection at all, it needs protection from members of Congress who value the symbol more than the freedoms that the flag represents." said Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., whose district includes the site of the former World Trade Center.

Our rulers have already demonstrated their inability to deal with "real" issues and have courageously decided to tackle a complete non-issue!

Remembering a Monster

It's rather ironic how the image of the bloodthirsty, maniacal, Marxist revolutionary, Che Guevara is generating profits for retailers who are probably every bit as ignorant of this man and his deeds as are the fashion obsessed clods who shell out the money for clothing adorned with Che's image.

Merry Christmas! Yes, I said Christmas!

Vox Day wishes us a militant Merry Christmas. He's right about this, too. There is a rather ominous quality to the replacement of the traditional "Merry Christmas" greeting with the insipid, PC inspired nonsense of "Happy Holidays". For the fat, dumb, and spineless who seem to comprise an ever expanding segment of American Evangelicalism and don't seem to mind the increasingly secular drift of every segment of our society, this should be required holiday reading!
